I’ve been listening to Blue Six for the past four years now. His music has been a great introduction to Deep House, which influenced my musical style a lot, when I first started to take making music seriously.
I loved his first solo album release “Beautiful Tomorrow” which featured a lot of smooth club joints and groovy bass lines.
A couple of years later I grew to admire his second album “Aquarian Angel” which was a bit more ambient and dark than his previous release.
“Noesis” is the name of Blue Six’s new album and I think it’s a strong release since “Aquarian Angel” and “Re-creation”, but I really miss his old upbeat clubs sounds that he had in Beautiful Tomorrow. The coolest track that I found on Noesis that resembled the early blue six signature sound was the song “you used to rock”. I listened to this track non-stop last week and it never gets old.
If you haven’t heard chilled out to anything sexy, groovy and smooth this summer then this track would be the perfect way to start.
